Pros: Nice pictures that portray up to date items. The ability to select cards to be used by place of articulation is handy. Videos to teach hand cues for each sound.
Cons: Limited number of pictured items under some place of articulation choice. While the idea of this app would be very helpful, it is currently not worth the price.
Pros:
Minimal pairs for eight phonological processes. Data-tracking. Lite version of app to trial one process.
Cons: Discrimination option has target on same side of screen every time, making it predictable. There should be an option to randomize the order of the two pictures.
Function: Screening, identification, diagnosis and follow-up evaluation of articulation skills. Analysis of speech production by: manner, phoneme, position in the word, voicing, and error type.
Pros: Screening & full assessment options. An informal alternative to standardized speech assessment. Can email results to computer.
